OUR PHILOSOPHY

My passion for wild herbs has always been with me. I spent the first years of my childhood on my grandmother’s farm.

In spring, we celebrated a ritual with nettle, dandelion and yarrow to mark the transition from winter to summer. I internalized summer by eating fresh sorrel, drinking rose petal syrup and chasing fireflies in the evening.

In the fall, I could hardly wait to eat the first quinces, weave the last daisies into necklaces and breathe in the scent of walnut leaves.

In winter, when the power of the plants retreated into the roots, herbal tea warmed us.

Even today, when I smell the scent of these plants, I am overcome by an indescribable feeling of security and freedom.
